New York
artist, Barbara Graff was raised in the Catskill Region, near
the famous town of Woodstock. After several years of a flourishing
career in New York City, she has returned to the Hudson Valley.
Masks and textures play a
tremendous role in Barbara's work. In addition to Barbara drawing much
of her inspiration from Nature, and having a great fascination with the
human face, the variety of media used in her work is also largely
attributed to her years of experience in the fashion industry. While
keeping her primary focus on Fine Art, Barbara also made a successful
career as a mannequin make-up artist for stores such as Bergdorf
Goodman, Barney's New York, Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue, as well
as several other major stores in the USA and abroad.
Canvas
transfers of Barbara’s work are now available in limited editions. The
digital printing process used, enables an original painting to be
masterfully reproduced, replicating its texture and
appearance.
